This book is nothing more than a rehash of a 50 year old Army field manual with a new cover. It describes how to construct and deconstruct booby traps usually using military grade explosives, det cord, blasting caps and triggers. This is the same book I used going thru combat engineer school in 1981. If you're looking for a how to book to make field expedient or homemade explosives this isn't it.
This material is best described as: If you have some explosive material, and a specific type of detonator, here are some ways you could trigger the detonator to create a booby trap. By itself, it's an interesting read if you've never read anything about booby traps, but not a whole lot of knowledge value. Combine it though with specific knowledge of certain hobbies that involve highly flammable or explosive materials and you could make some noise in a survival situation I suppose.

Dandy book put out by the U. S. Army, and probably the main source for terrorist before the advent of the internet and cell phones. This particular copy was updated in 1956. Lots of interesting dirty tricks. A how to book for doing and avoiding booby traps.
This manual relies heavily on items the average person can not obtain. Look at the cover closely and you will notice items not available to the public. There is very little usable information.
